Weblog: a new experience

I know, there are dozens of weblogs (wikipedia) on such a vast subject… Some very serious, others presume to be so but actually just make you laugh. If you’re wondering why I decided to start writing posts, and whether all this could be useful to you, well, the answer is: “maybe what I write won’t be useful to you… but welcome anyway!” I just hope not to make you laugh too much… This weblog isn’t serious, it doesn’t want to be… nor is it ridiculous… or rather, I hope it never becomes so…

In fact, this weblog wants to be something simple; for me it will be a record of all the work I often do on my servers, work that often becomes hard to reproduce after some time because of old age, which spares no one, not even me!!!

So it’s a note of mine on the web… for me and only for me… a way to preserve a memory. How many times have you found something interesting that, after some time, even at the cost of great efforts of memory, you were never able to find again?! It happens to me often!

There you have it, this is the main function, the usefulness I recognize in this space!

This weblog is the place where I keep methods, work steps, little creations that might one day come in handy again!!!

But, and I say but, if one day you should find something useful, something truly useful: let me know too!!!

If instead you’d like my opinion on how I would solve a particular problem: ask! If it sparks my interest and if my abilities allow it, I’ll be happy to answer you.

Over time I’ve learned that everyone approaches problems differently; the ways to solve an issue can be many. Mine are mine, and it’s not certain they’ll work for you 🙂
